Let me tell ya—there’s nothing wrong with going through periods of feeling burnt out. It doesn’t mean you don’t love your job or your relationship or your life any less than you do on the good days…
I like to describe a burn out with “I’ve been doing the same thing for too long.”
Feeling burnt out? Get uncomfortable.
🏞Change your scenery — go on a trip, for for a walk in a different neighbourhood, go to a new restaurant.
🚲 Change your workout — sick of cardio? Weight lift. Sick of weights? Bike. Keep it fun for YOU.
🌳Spend more time outside — OUTDOORPHINS! The outdoors has a great way of mentally, physically, and emotionally resetting you.
🪴Do something you enjoy — what is therapeutic to you? A hobby? A sport? Find it. Do it.
🫂 Hug somebody close — hugs have healing powers 🙂
🧗🏼♀️Take some much needed time off — NEVER be afraid to be honest about needing time alone/away. Your mental health is IMPORTANT. Treat yourself like you do other people.
